Mainer, Photographer, Storyteller

Jack Sullivan was born in southern Maine and grew up near the coast. He studied New Media at University of Maine with a concentration in photojournalism and documentary film. He currently works for Maine Aquaculture Association where he documents and tells the stories of Maine sea farmers. He previously served as the multimedia storyteller for Island Institute, and as the photo editor and staff photographer of their annual publication, Island Journal.

Jack is passionate about sustainable seafood, fishing communities, working waterfronts, and the interactions between people and nature.
